Aaah... Good News...

Thank God those corporate ads people cancelled their booking of the studio on Sat and Sun. Now we might actually get some decent amount of sleep during shoot week, and i'll be less stressed and cranky about keeping awake to work, work, work. Now the shooting is scheduled as follows (sorry if it's just a copy+paste of the one before, plus a few changes):

Wed 16th April- Annika's shoot: 12pm-3.30pm; 6.30pm-12am (i intend to help out, besides, you learn more this way)

Thurs 17th April- Reina's shoot: 5am-3.30pm (i'm production managing this shoot and should be there almost the entire time)

Fri 18th April- My shoot: 5am-11am then we resume at 12am of Sat 19th April til 2am to record voice-over narration. (my australian film essay is also due today, but i plan to get it done latest by Wed 16th April. Hopefully it all goes as planned)

Sat 19th April- My shoot continued: 12am-2am as i mentioned before and then 5am-1pm to wrap up; Grace's shoot up at the Coast will be pushed back to fit my schedule, dearest Grace, she's so compromising (i'm lighting hers).

Sun 20th April- Elissa's Shoot: 7am-4am (i'm D.o.Ping this one--operating the camera and setting up shots)

Mon 21st April- Alana's Shoot: 6am-3.30pm (studio); 3.30pm-4.30pm (on location) (i'm not doing anything on this and can't help out cos i'll be doing a paid gig--a music clip for the Blue Steel Signers where Killian (the guy who asked me along for the Deep Blue shoot at the Performing Arts Centre before uni started) will direct it. And i'll be camera assisting, so that'd be terrific!! Yay!! Hopefully i would've caught up with my sleep by then. All i know for now is that the shoot will be at an ice skating rink and we only have the venue til 1pm, so i'm guessing it'll be a really really early start, like 3am or 4am til 1pm.

Tues 22nd April- Grace's shoot (only one green screen shot which i'll have to light before i go to class at 8am): 6am-7.50am; Melissa's shoot: 8am-3pm

Yes, my shoot times are still by far the most scattered, but this can be considered a good thing cos if we stuff up the day before, we get to do pick-up shots (provided we're not behind schedule) the next day, plus the crew and cast get a break and come back the next day fresh as ever. Always look on the brightside =) That's how i was brought up and that's how i will think.

Anyway, i will post up my Experimental script soon, called Skin. It's been ready for awhile. But i will when i'm ready. I'd love to hear what you guys think.

Also, i've had an overwhelming response from actors who want to audition for the roles in my film. I know it's only 1 minute long, but it needs the amount of actors it has to give it meaning. Hopefully you'll know what i mean when you read it.

Audition's this Sunday (13th April). I'm quite excited. Always helped out on other people's auditions but never had one for my own film. This should be fun and i'll get loads of CVs so i will never be short of actors... Connections, connections... That's almost what the film biz is about... But of course that's just the surface.

Gotta get back to my essay which i should probably finish latest by Monday, Reina's already finished hers (she just needs an intro and conclusion)!! Aaaah.... Panic!!!

Thanks for reading and thanks for caring!
