Short Post

I didn't get the lighting assistant job, but i will be doing boom operating on the film (working title-Doll Story), sound stuff. It's all good. Experience is all i want. But the producer for the job Milan'll be doing has called me yet. So maybe all that hoo-ha about having to change my ticket was for nothing. But i'm actually going to try to go back mid-December instead cos i'd rather work a bit more... Plus the shoot for Doll Story ends on the 26th and if i fly on the 27th, i don't think i'll have time to pack. Plus i want to hang out with some of my uni friends and i don't like to rush.

Thank God for my grade on that presentation and essay on Night Watch. Happy with my grade considering all the paranoia after my presentation that day.

We just had the screenings for Narrative Production, this is the film we shot up at Mt. Tamborine. We got the best reviews out of the whole class (8 groups of 6-7 people). Got home at 4.30am this morning and slept at 5am because of it. Haha... There are always problems with QUT technology. Long story, but Grace and I sorted everything out half asleep. Very happy with the film and my group of course. It was a great team effort. Hopefully we'll work together again next year for Experimental Film, but we'll see.

Film Genres exam tomorrow. And then i just have one last thing to finish--my take home exam for Sound, Image, Text due on the 9th. Then that night i'll be going to the screenings for the 48 hr film festival! Yay! Tickets cost bloody $12.50 each. Gosh... they're making money off all our films! Haha... Guess that's how it works. Then it's work back at Subway the next day (Saturday-Tuesday).
