Can't Sleep As Usual

Now, 5.54am. Still here.

This would be my second post in... what? the span of 20-30 minutes.

Surprisingly, i'm more restless than i was when i first came back from Bris. Yes, i surprise myself sometimes. I also make myself laugh... A LOT. Still a bit random right? I know. I'm quite certain it is one of the many side effects of sleep deprivation.

But, honest to God. I cannot sleep when i don't feel like it. When it doesn't feel right to waste time sleeping.

I once got a pillow case as a gift from my close friends (the Utmost gang, Janice and Elaine) that said: Einstein sleeps less than 2 hours a night. And it makes sense... to me at least.

But of course i fall asleep as soon as my body can't take it, lack of sleep, that is.

My parents call me crazy for sleeping at odd hours, sleeping when others awaken from a nights' nourishment of shut-eye. They have recently blamed almost anything that can be related to my sleep deprivation ON my sleep deprivation.

And i always argue and reason with, "i AM on holiday." And they would say, "that is not a good reason to abuse your body that way, sleep early or at least at 12 and wake up early, then you can do whatever..."

Occasionally, i can't believe they put up with me. But then again, most parents do put up with their sometimes rebellious, disrespectful children. If not, how would we as offspring ever find our way... Don't you just love parents that way?

Yes, they will always have an opinion on almost anything they think you're doing incorrectly or unconventionally, but they ARE more experienced, and they HAVE been on this earth longer than we have. So kiddies, do listen to your mommies and daddies, most of the time, they DO know what's best.

Ok, sidetracked... Back to what i was saying.
What parents don't understand/realize is that holidays are no fun that way (if we don't stay up late/don't sleep at all).

HOLIDAYS are called holidays for a reason. And in my honest opinion, holidays are called holidays because they are different from all the other days that we are supposed to be at school/uni/work/wherever we're supposed to be. Who agrees with me?

Now, 6.14am and my sisters have just woken up. They have to go to school see... hahahahhahaah. I don't have to, not yet.

Ok. This is pointless. Sorry for wasting your time.

But then again, i've seen worse blogging by my younger sister's friends. Bit scary. I don't want to be part of that group, so i'll stop now.

Thanks for reading and wasting your time, oh, and caring.
