Hanging on by a String of Phlegm

Haha... Yes. No thread here. I'm sick. Dang. And there's one more week til mid sem break.

I've been busy. Lots of stuff to do.
Even so, I still managed to watch 3 movies in 2 days (Friday and Saturday)- Jindabyne, Brick and The Lakehouse. They were all very different. Long stories there. Not important enough for me to waste my time telling them.

I gave my Critical Review about Closer in class on Friday, Tim's class. There was a problem with the opening scene that i was gonna show the class and elaborate on, so that sucked, hopefully he didn't take that into consideration. Kannan said he wouldn't. Hope so.

My self map is due tomorrow. Presented it in class on Monday. Ken liked it, but he held back on his comments. Hmm... He didn't want to give me too much feedback. I think the class liked it too. Why don't you guys tell me what you think. It'll be too late by the time i get your feedback, but i would like it anyways.

Yes, classes are much more interesting compared to first semester.

Nothing much to say. Just thought i'd post something for the sake of it, let you know where i stand.

Plans for this week:

1 Finish my 1500 word essay outline, yup, outline first, for Ken's class (but i have to finish the readings first. I'm a week behind. Dang!)

2 Hand in my Comm essay

3 Hand in my self map and statement

4 Finish and hand in my Project plan for Professional Studies-- Oh yeah, Kak, thanks for your idea the other day, but i can't use it cos it doesn't teach anyone anything. Shai gave me an idea about presenting certain words that provoke thought, hopefully this would teach people how their thoughts can be controlled or how they think or come to conclusions. What do you think? Anymore ideas people. Could use the help. Looking for my muse.

5 This coming Friday, we're celebrating Yuka (9th August 1987) and Shai's birthday (12th August 1988). We're going to Sizzler's to eat Rat Poison. haha... kidding. There was this incident once before. Long story. Lots of commotion.

6 Going to Movie World. Hopefully.

7 Finishing my 1500 word essay.

Thanks for reading and thanks for caring!

hey, thanks guys or rather Kak, i think. Is that you? anyways, whoever that is, thanks, but you're a week late. Hahah...I handed in my project plan last Friday when it was due. I'm doing this thing on Movie Reviews... i.e. teaching people how to review or critique movies correctly. Plus my teacher said this could help me in the future. So... two birds with one stone... Hopefully it doesn't turn into a disaster. Crap. Thanks though.
