Antibiotics Holiday

Saw the doctor on Monday, the same one, she gave me antibiotics. A five-day course of Rullide. Hmm... Today's Tuesday, my phlegm is losing its colour. But i'm still coughing. Guess i can't complain. Doctor said that i still have the flu and i have to let that "wear off" whilst we hit the bacteria with antibiotics. Terrific, i'm carrying a virus and a bacteria.

Meanwhile i've just been watching movies: The Die Hard Trilogy (very entertaining), Apocalypto (good story, very interesting, wouldn't have used so many POV shots though, that was a bit off, but overall it was great. 9 out of 10), Breaking and Entering, Gosford Park, Blood Diamond. All of them were great.

I watched 28 Weeks Later with Morg last week, that was awesome, way better than the first one, and one of the best zombie movies i've seen to date, in terms of storyline, cinematography and music. I love that movie. In fact, it's the best 2007 cinema release i've seen this year. Shrek 3-crap, Spiderman 3-crap, Pirates 3-entertaining but close to crap. Basically all the sequels have been crap. And i can't even remember the other movies i've seen this year, so obviously they were crap. Hollywood is going down. My Film History lecturer told us that Hollywood is looking for a new "formula" because they've been using the same one for decades and now the Hollywood Blockbuster audience is thinning, apparently, audience numbers have decreased by 70%. And then he'd say "So, if any of you have any ideas or new ways and techniques to make films, now's your chance". Right, as if it were that easy to break into the business.

Anyway, holidays have been shite so far. May not even go to the Gold Coast this weekend, too lazy to pack and go, plus i'll be on antibiotics, meaning i can't and shouldn't drink. So what's the point of going? Right? Haha... I'd much rather stay home and continue watching movies... Bum around... Will be working on Monday and Tuesday, haven't gotten my roster yet, but called Navroz to ask if i could work less this week cos i'm sick. And he said i didn't sound right anyway, so it would be fine.

That's all for now, oh, Daniel fixed my internet, the network key was supposed to be set to "shared" not "open" while the security is on for our internet... I could only connect if the security was switched off after my computer got fixed, then Daniel found out someone was using our internet, so he had to switch the security on, and so my internet didn't work and he came to take a look and fixed it. So now i have internet. Yay.
