Basketball and soccer

On Monday, Labour day, our foundation class had a soccer gathering organised by our "Student Body President"- Yuka. It was a lot of fun. I scored a goal. In total 10 people came and teams were divided equally with girls and boys in both teams. It was great!

Then after that, i had basketball with Shannon, Jess and Li Bing(new "character"). Li Bing, one year older than Shannon, was a prefect in TTSS, apparently is a "lower chinese" type like me. Studies in UQ, lives with his sister in Toowong, has a car, always sends us home after basketball. First time i met him was when we went to UQ to play basketball in the indoor courts cos it was raining. Shannon, Jess and I waited for him in the city. UQ has a beautiful campus and really cool and new facilities, cute guys too. UQ is in Toowong, a trainride away. Not too far. The 2nd time we hung out with Li Bing was on Monday. Played basketball after my soccer thingy. So i was so tired... I was definitely over-exercising that day. Anyways, the 4 of us played against these 3 other people who were playing at the other court. They were an Indonesian girl, a Japanese girl and a Taiwanese guy. We kind of slacked off guarding them cos we felt it was sorta unfair for 3 of them to be playing against the 4 of us(cos Shannon can shoot well, Jess too, Li Bing and I used to play for school)... In the end we ended up losing cos we gave them too many chances. Haha... But it was a good game, even though i was tired as shit. We talked to them after the game and found out that both girls were in Mass Comm and Creative Industries respectively. The guy was in Creative Industries as well. When i said that hopefully I'd see them next year, they told me they were graduating this year, meaning that they are in their 3rd year.

Forgive me if my sentences appear short and uninteresting for i am tired, been sleeping late to finish assignments and homework. And i still haven't completed all of them. Lance was right, when you're free you're really free, when you're busy, you're REALLY busy. It's kinda exhausting at this stage, because of the assignments and partly because of the cold weather. And this week i was almost late, thank God i woke up just in time. I usually wake up at 7.45am, but on Tuesday i woke up at 8.30am, school starts at 9am. So i skipped breakfast, i brushed my teeth, got dressed and left. That was freaky, first time that has happened to me over here. All the late nights are getting to me, slowly but steadily. I do set the alarm, but i always snooze, and that particular day i turned it off completely thinking, "just five more minutes" but then woke half an hour later. So it's dangerous to snooze. The cold weather really makes you wanna curl in the warm bed the whole morning and just sleep until whenever you feel like.

Another thing about the weather is that you have to dress differently. I usually wear surfer pants and a t-shirt when i come to school, mainly because it's hot or i should say was hot. So these past few days, the weather's been changing and dressing as i normally would could potentially catch me a cold. So this morning i decided to wear jeans and a long sleeved "fitting" top. I get to school and enter class and Sonia goes, "JAMIE!" with this look of awe on her face. She keeps going on and on about how finally she gets to see me in "dress-up" mode. And i tell her cos i felt cold this morning i decided to wear a long sleeved shirt and long pants(jeans). And she tells me i look good. Cool... and Duh. Haha... Kidding. And Ali, he's 26, his birthday was on the day we had soccer-Labour day, he's a funny guy and he's from Saudi Arabia. He told me i look sexy. Wow... but cool... Then during lunch break, I'm putting my bag in my locker close to the floor cos i don't wanna carry it to the canteen, and suddenly from behind someone calls out, "wow, you look hot today!" Who else but the perverted little youngster, Shairah. Martha laughs and agrees and tells me what Sonia told me in TPS class this morning which is what they were talking about yesterday- They wondered how i'd look when i "dressed-up". And everyone makes a big deal about it. Sonia even said during lunch that if one day she sees me wearing a skirt, she'll faint on the spot... She'd pass out. She's very dramatic and exaggerates so... And Shai and Martha keep asking me when i'll wear a skirt, and i tell them when i have to do the oral presentation for Comm i will and they all go, "Oh, i can't wait!". Cool... Neither can i... Joking. Basically everyone is stunned about how good i look in jeans and a tight t-shirt. Shai told me that David checked me out in the canteen. Hardy har har... God... these people. Shairah even gropped my ass as she was saying, "woo!". Sonia commented on my ass saying that it was "full and firm". Martha said i have a "nice ass". Too much information? i know... I thought so too. So that's how my day went, Thursday, 4th May, 2006. And all i did was wear jeans... cos i was cold... Man o man...

Haha... Thanks for reading and thanks for caring.
